Weekend Nachos - Torture EP (Tooth Decay, 2005)...

Torture opens the gates of Dimension X with the introduction "End of Your Faith," a sludgy prelude to the onslaught of powerful violence, and by powerful violence I mean powerviolence. This is not that To Live a Lie trendviolence, this is actual powerviolence taking nods from the likes of Infest and Crossed Out with a little Path of Resistance and Eyehategod for some variety. What sets Weekend Nachos apart from the poseurs is that the music is rooted in hardcore as opposed to Bridge Nine and The Locust.

  4. Firstly tough guy, i don't collect records of any sort... i couldn't care less, i listen to what i NEED which is a very small handful of bands, collecting of any sort other than that of experience and wisdom usually just permeates materialism in most... boosts the ego and creates the true CUNT in humanity. I'm serious, tell me, whats your goal in your "scene" because judging by your aggressive wording you come across as an elitist snob yourself and seem pretty fucking angered by some cut'n'paste paragraph? Relax there's a bigger picture, it's just a few pixels on a glorified links page man! Not at all important.
Seems like you know nothing of what the powerviolence scene actually was all about... cliches such as UNITY and LOVE come to mind; NOT an insular group of nerds pretending they're "real" and worshiping themselves. Keep your scene if your the voice of it's ideals. I personally am more down with the progression of what decent people there are left to push this stinking race forward in some way, whatever that is and not backwards.

STRENGTH AND POWER - IN UNITY.
