G&S Footage (1990)



Seminal and most definitely one of the best skateboard videos ever... of course in hindsight maybe not for the standard of the skating but style wise and as document for the time it differs in comparison to the vids coming out of California during that period seeing as most of the footage was filmed in middle America to the East Coast. Great soundtrack too. Made by Neil Blender just before the conception of Alien Workshop whose opening ceremony was heralded a year later with another great vid titled 'Memory Screen' which helped cast the aesthetic of the company that's still (barely) visible today.

    so he bought one off the Chinaman aswell then. I can't remember the narrative of scratched and all that shit, but sos for thinking it was mine based on the information i had etc. etc. not that i even care - i guess i just wanted to have a stake in the experience and for that to be recognised. tragic really
